Road Freight Forwarder Birmingham Hybrid Working Salary up to £34,000 DEOWe're looking for an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to join a small, close-knit team in Birmingham. You'll be working alongside two seasoned forwarders, taking full ownership of shipments from start to finish in a role that genuinely values experience, autonomy, and work-life balance.This is a hands-on operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys managing the full freight cycle and being trusted to get on with the job.What you'll be doing:Managing end-to-end road freight operations (imports & exports)Booking collections and deliveries, routing and liaising with hauliersHandling customs documentation and clearance processesTracking shipments and proactively resolving issuesCommunicating with customers and overseas partnersEnsuring compliance and smooth movement of goods throughoutWhat we're looking for:Proven experience in road freight forwarding for a UK based freight companyComfortable managing shipments start to finish, including customsComfortable working independently with import and export shipmentsA team player who enjoys working in a small, experienced teamWhat's on offer:Salary up to £34,000 (depending on experience)Hybrid workingPerformance bonusFlexible start times - start between 8am-9am, finish 4pm-5pmStarting holiday 21 day + 8 banks (Increasing with service)A role where your experience is trusted and valuedWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
