Join a new, fast-growing investment boutique specialising in liquid alternative investments. 

As a developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our internal platforms, developing new functionality, and supporting the continued rollout of our technology both internally and externally to professional clients.

This role is ideal for someone curious, technical, and eager to learn the inner workings of derivatives, pricing, and automation while working across a modern stack that includes Node.js, Python, SQL, and Azure. This could be a hybrid role, and you’ll be expected to work from our London office at least 3 days per week.

Bluebridge is an independent asset manager focussed on delivering predictable outcomes across risk, return and liquidity in all asset classes. We combine analytical depth with a boutique mindset to build alternative investment strategies that reflect the specific needs of our investors.

Our solutions business line, in partnership with a curated range of global investment banks, seeks to bring institutional clients bespoke investment solutions (including structured products), systematic strategies and other investment solutions tailored to their market view, risk appetite and overall needs. We are also growing our fund management business line to provide pooled investment vehicles within these areas.

BlueBridge is building the infrastructure that helps wealth managers and other investment professionals access better tools, data and workflows. Our platform brings together real-time pricing, analytics, trade workflows, and client reporting in one smooth interface and will continue to evolve so our clients can operate more efficiently and make better decisions.

What you will be doing

You’ll be helping us scale our technology and deliver a best-in-class experience for financial professionals.

You will:

• Maintain and enhance our existing client-facing tools
• Build new features across our Node.js and Python services, Azure infrastructure, and SQL databases
• Work closely with the founders to identify and prioritise product improvements that deepen client engagement and improve customer service (making clients’ lives easier)
• Automate key internal sales workflows such as scheduled client reports and the data processing thereof, price requests to global investment banks and the generation of key investment documentation
• Learn to work with professional tools such as Bloomberg, SendGrid, and Keycloak
• Contribute to analytics, structured-product workflows, and systematic strategy development
• Support quant developers with UI and portfolio management system development
• Troubleshoot production issues and help ensure platform reliability and performance
• Harness and leverage the use of AI

What you bring

We’re looking for someone with experience, but above all, someone motivated, curious, respectful and willing to take their career to the next level across development and finance.

• Working experience with Node.js, Python, SQL, and Azure
• At least Bsc in Computer Science / Financial Engineering or similar
• A strong desire to learn sophisticated financial-market concepts, particularly derivatives and structured products
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues across a full technology stack
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment and collaborate effectively with a small team
• A growth mindset and willingness to pick up new technologies and tools quickly
• Prior exposure to finance or data-heavy environments is ideal, but not an absolute requirement

• Technical Interview – 45 minute session focused on your programming fundamentals (Node.js, Python, SQL) and problem-solving
• Case Study – A short take-home task, followed by a call where you present your approach
• Final Interview – In-person conversation with company leadership
