At 5app we are developing an innovative AI based skills analysis tool which evaluates skills usage by attending online meetings, this compliments our existing Learning Management System which large and small corporates use to train their employees.

We are looking for a full stack engineer to join our team of 3 developers to design, develop and support these products.As a small team we are looking for someone who can take ownership as well as working with the rest of the team.We work remotely but try to meet up in London every 1-3 months.

What you’ll be doing

• Involved in the architecture, build, testing and maintenance of full stack systems built with React, Node and MySQL on AWS.
• Integrate LLMs into real-world applications - and explore where AI can go next
• Work closely with the product team solve our customers problems
• Take ownership of parts of the application as you gain experience

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience building scalable systems with our tech stack
• Cloud architecture know-how with AWS
• Solid understanding of relational databases
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or similar
• Experience in a start-up, greenfield, or high-autonomy team environment
• Passionate problem-solver with a bias for ownership and impact
• You've shipped LLM-based products in production
• Remote working with meet-ups in London so you need to be within a couple of hours of London
