Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Hygiene Therapist located in Looe at the Maple Croft Dental Practice. The Dental Hygiene Therapist will work closely with patients to deliver high-quality preventative oral care, provide hygiene treatments, educate patients on oral health, and collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include conducting routine dental examinations, hygiene cleanings, treating gum disease, restoring dentition, applying preventative materials, taking dental impressions, and offering guidance on dental hygiene and overall health practices.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Dental Care and Dentistry practices
• Expertise in Hygiene techniques and Health Promotion strategies
• Strong focus on Patient Care, including building patient relationships and ensuring comfort
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Relevant qualifications and certification in Dental Hygiene Therapy and indemnity
• Commitment to providing excellent and ethical dental care
