We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Telford working eitherDAYSorNIGHTSon long term, full time basis with an option to gain a permanent contract after 12 working weeks through Swift Temps

As a vital part of their logistics operation, you will be responsible transporting freight efficiently ensuring all stock is securely scrapped on a curtain side tailor. As LGV C + E you will be required to work an average of 8/9 hours per shift with various starts times available :

  • Night shift from 6pm-8pm start - average of 1 drop/ tip per shift o
  • Day shift from 1am to 6am start- average of 2/3 drops per day including in and around London

Pay:

DAYS- Standard rate Mon to Fri: £15ph flat rate and weekends £16.75ph

NIGHTS- Standard rate Mon to Fri £16ph flat rate and weekends £16.75ph

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license with a clean driving record demonstrating extensive commercial driving experience - evidence of 60 commercial working days within past 12 months is essential (Taco download required before commencing work )
  • Proven experience operating various commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, flatbeds, or tankers
  • Experience securing loads and national deliveries
