Are you a supportive, enthusiastic, and committed Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a full‑time TA to join a welcoming and forward‑thinking primary school from April 2026. The successful candidate will be placed in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on where their skills and experience are best suited.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning, development, and wellbeing of pupils. You will help to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in‑class support to pupils and assist with lesson delivery Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning Support teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation Assist with behaviour management and pastoral care Help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has experience working in a primary school setting Is confident supporting learners in KS1 or KS2 Is patient, nurturing, and motivated Has strong communication and teamwork skills Is adaptable and able to use their initiative Holds a relevant qualification (or has equivalent experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
