Role Overview
We are seeking an inspiring and motivated Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join the education team at HMP Stocken . You will deliver high‑quality Maths teaching from Entry Level 1 up to Level 2 , supporting small groups of learners to build confidence, develop essential numeracy skills, and work towards recognised qualifications.
This is a rewarding role where you will design structured learning plans, deliver engaging sessions, and play a key part in helping individuals progress towards long‑term personal, academic, and employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning Delivery
Deliver Functional Skills Maths from Entry Level 1 to Level 2 to small groups.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet a range of learning needs.
Use varied teaching strategies to support learners with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Provide advice, guidance, and academic support throughout the learning journey.
