We have a great opportunity for a Functional Skills Trainer to deliver high quality Functional Skills (FS) provision to apprentices in a designated region and, occasionally, nationally. This role will require travel in and around North East region. The centres in this region are: Hull, York, South Yorkshire & Tyneside. The ideal candidate will: Hold a teaching level qualification and/or assessment qualification at level 3 as well as GCSE English and Maths at A-C, 9-4, NVQ level 2, O Level A-D or equivalent. Be able to deliver face-to-face classes and remote online classes, utilising a range of engaging and interesting resources for Functional Skills English, Maths and some ICT. Support every apprentice to achieve functional skills in a timely manner and in line with awarding organisation standards.
