A leading global alternative manager is seeking a Fund Controller to join its London-based fund finance team. The firm manages a diverse portfolio of funds across multiple regions and sectors and has a strong track record of growth and fund-raising.

This role will sit within the fund accounting team, which oversees financial and investor reporting obligations for the firm’s flagship funds and co-investment vehicles. The Fund Controller will work closely with other controllers to manage fund accounting, reporting, treasury, and operations, while also partnering with investment, tax, legal, investor relations, and compliance teams.

The position offers broad exposure, high levels of ownership, and the opportunity to add tangible value from a finance perspective. The successful candidate will have the ability to take responsibility for fund management as if running their own business, with direct interaction with senior stakeholders.

• Broad exposure to fund accounting, reporting, and treasury.
• Close collaboration with deal teams, legal, tax, and compliance on deal funding and disposals.
• Significant ownership of fund management, including direct responsibility for credit facilities and documentation.

Skills and Experience

• 6–10 years’ experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting
• Background may include a mix of public accounting, private fund accounting, and fund administration.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher & ACA OR ACCA qualification
• Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to evaluate and improve processes.
• Ability to multi-task, remain flexible, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced global environment.
