We’re partnering with a Leading international law firm that is seeking to hire a Funds Paralegal on a permanent basis to join its team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on exposure to the establishment and ongoing operation of hedge funds, private equity funds and alternative investment structures, working closely with first class lawyers and international stakeholders


Whilst there are no immediate plans for further progression, the role offers a high level of responsibility and client interaction, making it ideal for candidates looking to deepen their funds expertise in a fast paced, commercial environment that you would not typically access at larger, process heavy firms.


Some Responsibilities:

• Supporting the launch and structuring of investment funds, including involvement from inception through to operation

• Drafting and reviewing funds and corporate documentation using established precedents

• Acting as a key liaison with external law firms on fund launches and ongoing matters

• Coordinating regulatory filings and approvals and managing ongoing compliance requirements

• Reviewing transaction documents and supporting post completion work

• Assisting with restructurings, liquidations and wind downs

• Contributing to ad hoc projects and broader transactional matters as they arise


Candidate Expectations:

• Prior corporate experience in a Funds team at a leading City law firm is essential.

• Strong academic background, ideally with a law degree from a Russell Group university.
