Partner – Investment Funds (City of London) | Alternatives focus

A City firm with a recognised private capital and real assets focus is expanding its Investment Funds capability. This is a Partner hire for someone who wants to sit at the centre of an alternatives ecosystem: funds, sponsors, asset managers, and capital partners.

Scope

• Fund formation and structuring across alternatives (real estate, private equity, private credit/debt, infrastructure)
• GP/adviser-side work: carried interest/economics, co-invest, secondaries/continuation-style structuring
• Regulatory overlay where needed (UK marketing, governance, manager considerations)
• Strong connectivity to real estate, finance and corporate teams — funds isn’t treated as a bolt-on

What they’re looking for

• Funds Partner with an alternatives tilt and a commercial approach
• A book that can grow — or a very clear plan to turn an existing network into recurring mandates
• Someone who enjoys being a “hub” partner: bringing together real estate, finance and sponsor stakeholders
