Furniture Upholsterer

We are looking for a Furniture Upholsterer for a client based in Yate. Role is available either on a temp to perm or straight permanent basis depending on preference of a successful candidate.

Company is a leading business in chair manufacturing and this is a great opportunity for someone who has got previous experience in upholstery work (not necessarily chairs, could be car interiors, sofas, etc. Candidates with strong manufacturing skillset from other backgrounds will also be considered for this role. This is a friendly work environment

Working Monday till Friday 0745 until 1630 with 45 min unpaid break this will amount to 40 hours a week paid. Some overtime might be available occasionally depending on contracted work for the business which would be paid at 1.5 rate of basic pay. Basic rate per hour will be £13 to £14 depending on experience)

After 3 months the candidate will be eligible for a performance bonus amounting up to 10% of annual salary (between £2,700 and £2,900 DoE).

We are looking for:

- Candidates with previous upholstery experience (desireable)

- Candidates with strong manufacturing skills that can relate to the role, e.g. sowing

- Someone reliable who is looking for a permanent role

- Candidates who can make it to Yate either via public transport or drive

Work is available straight away for the right person.
