JOB DESCRIPTION
About The Role
As a Mobile Estate Assistant at Guinness, you will be responsible for providing high-quality garden services to several of our housing schemes in West London.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As an Estate Assistant, you will:
Carry out grounds maintenance of our communal green spaces.
You will maintain the upkeep of all landscaped areas, ensuring pathways and hard standings are kept clear of debris.
Operate landscaping machinery, ride-on mowers, strimmer's, hedge cutters, and blowers.
Working as part of a team.
Provide a high-quality service to residents.
Cleaning internal communal areas and keeping external areas well-maintained.
Working outside all year round, working in inclement weather conditions as well as exposure to cold/heat and noise.
Keep accurate records of your work, sharing best practice and ways of working to improve the service, and learning from experience when things don't go to plan.
Requirements:
As you will be interacting with our customers and colleagues, we are looking for someone who has good customer service skills with the ability to work both within a team and on your own.
You will also have:
Recent experience in grounds maintenance.
Have a good understanding of health and safety, COSHH requirements.
Have basic IT knowledge and be comfortable using mobile devices (training will be provided).
Be punctual and have a positive attitude.
Full manual driving licence.
Build effective relationships based on trust and respect, and be a great ambassador for The Guinness Partnership.
A full UK driving licence
Desirable
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Horticulture or equivalent.
PA1, PA4b & PA6 NPTC Certificates.
