Position: Domestic and Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Southampton

Salary: £40,000 to £52,000

Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer required for our client, an established and growing plumbing and heating contractor based in the Southampton area, delivering heating and gas services across both domestic and commercial sectors.

The Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer will carry out service, maintenance and breakdown works across a range of commercial (if qualified) and domestic properties. Commercial sites include hotels, shops, pubs, churches and office buildings, while domestic work is generally carried out within a 25-mile radius of Southampton. Commercial projects can involve travel further afield, typically covering areas across the Home Counties, Dorset and Sussex. The successful engineer must hold relevant ACS domestic gas qualifications, with commercial qualifications highly advantageous.

Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer Position Overview

Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer required covering Southampton and surrounding areas, carrying out servicing, maintenance and reactive repair works across a mixture of commercial buildings and domestic properties, ensuring systems are operating safely and efficiently.

Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer Position Requirements

* Valid ACS gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT etc.

* Commercial gas qualifications advantageous (if domestically qualified, the client will consider upskilling)

* Previous experience working on domestic boilers, with commercial experience advantageous

* Experience with service, maintenance and breakdown works

* Ability to work independently across multiple sites

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Based within commutable distance of Southampton

Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer Position Remuneration

* £42,000 - £52,000 basic salary, depending on experience. xbpsjku

* Door-to-door travel paid when working further afield

* Varied workload across domestic and commercial projects

* Company vehicle and fuel card
