Subcontract Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineer – Social Housing Work
Rock Recruitment are seeking experienced Subcontract Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineers to carry out work in the social housing sector.
This role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing domestic gas appliances and heating systems in council and housing association properties. Job Type: Subcontractor / Self-Employed (3–5 days per week, flexible schedule)

Key Responsibilities:
* Service, diagnose, and repair domestic gas appliances (boilers, cookers, fires) in social housing properties
* Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and social housing standards
* Follow health & safety and safeguarding policies
Essential Requirements:

* Valid Domestic ACS qualifications including: HTR1 (Gas Fires) & CKR1 (Gas Cookers)
* Gas Safe Registration
* Own van and tools
* Clean, valid DBS certificate
* Public Liability Insurance (minimum £2 million)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience diagnosing and repairing gas boilers/appliances
