Your new company We're hiring experienced gas engineers to join a repair team across Merseyside. Working for a well-established contractor for social housing properties. You'll cover day‑to‑day and void property repairs, servicing & breakdowns - with great earning potential.
⭐ What's on Offer - £42,000 equivalent salary (paid as a weekly hourly rate) - Start & finish from home - paid door‑to‑door - 30 days holiday (accrued hourly - paid weekly or saved up) - Company van, fuel card & power tools - Extra earnings through standby rota & overtime
Your new role - Gas servicing, breakdowns, repairs & installs- Work in occupied homes and voids - Diagnose issues, order materials & deliver cost‑effective fixes - Keep van stock organised and ready - Record all work on PDA/mobile systems - Provide great service to customers & colleagues - Always work safely & follow H&S procedures What you'll need to succeed
Essential: * Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (recognised Gas trade qualification). * Qualified to work with central heating, water heaters, cookers, pipe work, unvented hot water, (formally ACOPS 1-14). * Qualified Gas Safety Engineer (CCN1) - Install, Commission, Service, Safety Check for Natural Gas and LPG and appropriate CSCS card. Full UK driving licence Desirable * Hold relevant health & safety qualifications which relate to the sector. * Asbestos awareness training. * Relevant power tool, manual handling training. * Appropriate and current training in COSHH & PPE. * Access equipment and working at height training e.g. mobile work platforms.
