The Vacancy
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Gas Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our responsive maintenance contract in Barnsley. You will be responsible for managing a team of schedulers and gas engineers, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance across all aspects of the contract.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee the daily running of the gas contract, supported by an established team of schedulers and engineers. Ensure full compliance with the Wates Operating Framework and all relevant gas safety regulations. Manage quality control across internal teams and subcontractors delivering gas works. Provide technical support for ongoing gas-related tasks and projects. Monitor and drive team productivity to meet client KPIs for gas servicing and repairs
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have
A valid Domestic Gas Qualification. Proven experience managing a gas contract. Strong understanding of gas legislation and regulatory requirements. SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme). Excellent leadership and communication skills.
