This role involves delivering 1:1 GCSE Maths and English lessons to students in the area. Its ideal for a tutor who can adapt their teaching style to meet individual learning needs and help students build confidence, improve subject knowledge, and achieve academic success.

\n \nKey Responsibilities: \n \nDeliver tailored GCSE Maths and English lessons, adjusting content and pace to suit each student's unique learning style. \n \nHelp students develop subject knowledge, study skills, and boost exam confidence. \n \nCreate a safe and supportive learning environment while building positive rapport with students.

\n \nMonitor progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to parents/carers or other professionals. \n \nPrepare and implement structured learning plans, including a therapeutic approach where appropriate. \n \nEssential Requirements: \n \nMinimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English.

\n \nRight to work in the UK. \n \nEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). \n \nAbility to work independently and manage flexible schedules.

\n \nDesirable Qualifications: \n \nQTS or PGCE in Secondary Education. \n \nExperience working with learners with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH). \n \nAdditional Information: \n \nSessions typically take place during school hours, with occasional after-school or evening opportunities.
