GCSE tutor with SEN experience

The Role:

Delivering personalised, 1:1 GCSE tuition (core subjects and/or specialist subjects)

Adapting teaching strategies to support students with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and other additional needs)

Supporting students working towards GCSE examinations

Planning engaging sessions aligned with the national curriculum

Tracking progress and providing feedback to parents, carers, and relevant professionals

Sessions may take place in the home, school, or community settings

The Ideal Candidate:

Strong GCSE subject knowledge (QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring background preferred)

Essential: Experience supporting students with SEN

Confident adapting materials to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets

Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
