Location: SO45 Hours: 6 hours per week Days/Times: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - 12:30-14:30 Delivery: Face‑to‑face in the student's home
About the Role
We are seeking a patient and adaptable tutor to deliver 6 hours per week of English and Maths tuition to a Year 11 student with an EHCP and SEMH needs. The student is working at a mid‑ to low‑ability level and will benefit from structured, confidence‑building teaching that supports core GCSE skills at an accessible pace.

Experience supporting students with SEMH Ability to differentiate learning for mid-low ability levels Calm, consistent approach with strong rapport‑building skills Confidence teaching GCSE English and Maths content Reliability and good communication with families and professionals
(JS) - English & Maths
Location: SO45 Hours: 4 hours per week (potential increase to 6 hours) Days/Times: Thursday & Friday from 11:00 Delivery: Face‑to‑face in the student's home
About the Role
We are looking for a supportive and engaging tutor to provide English and Maths tuition to a Year 11 student with SEMH needs whose school attendance has been low. The student is at risk of becoming NEET and hopes to pursue a landscaping apprenticeship, so the tutor will play a key role in building confidence, core skills, and motivation.

About the tutoring

6 months working in UK schools Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science Experience tutoring or teaching (school, intervention, tuition centre, or mentoring) Ability to build positive relationships with students Reliable, organised, and confident working independently A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
