Description

Our client is an entrepreneurial, fast growth business with significant plans to grow substantially in the next few years both nationally and internationally. As a result, they are recruiting heavily across the organisation including seeking to fill a new position for a General Counsel.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of the executive team, you will take a key role in supporting the business’s growth plans. You will lead on ideas, devising and executing multiple growth strategies.
• You will establish and develop a legal team, implementing processes and procedures.
• Oversee external law firms, managing processes and transactions.

We are looking for

• Experienced solicitor with a minimum of 8 years PQE*.
• Silver or Magic law firm training.
• Preferably experience working inhouse.
• The ability to undertake a business advisory and strategic role.
• Whilst your practice area is less important, experience in corporate transactions would be a distinct advantage.
