✨ Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons in the absence of the regular teacher following provided plans

Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

Support all pupils’ learning needs during cover lessons

Report any concerns or incidents to relevant staff

Assist with administrative or pastoral tasks as required

Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times

✨ Essential Requirements / Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching in a school environment

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain

Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups

✨ Desirable Experience:

Previous experience as a cover teacher or supply teacher

Experience in secondary school settings

Familiarity with the national curriculum across multiple subjects

Experience supporting pupils with SEN or behavioural challenges
