To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. Responsible for the overall efficient management of the unit, ensuring quality service. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and service to meet standards and specifications. Use resources efficiently, including stock, team members, and assets.
Communicating, motivating, and guiding your management team and catering staff daily
Taking responsibility for food and health & safety procedures in the college catering department
Promoting the unit and acting as a Compass Advocate
Managing budgets, monitoring trends, and implementing corrective actions
