The site is popular with locals and attracts a strong leisure-led customer base, offering everything from relaxed lunches and hearty dinners to special occasions, functions and overnight stays. The business has astrong balanced food and beverage offer, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a reputation for servinghigh-quality, wholesome food alongside a great drinks range including beers, wines, and spirits. The role: As General Manager, you will take full ownership of a high-volume, multi-faceted operation, ensuring consistently high standards across food, drink, service, and accommodation. You will be: A visible, hands-on leader who thrives on the floor and behind the bar A genuine host who enjoys engaging with guests and building strong community relationships Passionate about great food, drink & ensuring the highest standards of service & guest satisfaction Responsible for driving sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction Leading, motivating, and developing a large front and back-of-house team Overseeing all aspects of operations including service standards, stock control, and GP performance Delivering events and maximising revenue opportunities across food, drink, and rooms About you: We are looking for a dynamic and energetic operator with a strong hospitality background, ideally from: High-quality gastropubs Destination food-led pubs Busy, premium restaurant operations Independent or quality branded hospitality businesses A strong F & B background You will already be a General Manager ready for your next step into a full multi-revenue GM role with a strong high-volume experience. You will bring: Strong F & B background with proven experience running a high-volume food-led business Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent front-of-house presence and customer engagement Strong financial awareness (GP, stock control, labour management) A hands-on, lead from the front approach Experience delivering events and driving repeat business Some experience of bedrooms, though not essential Longevity in your previous roles You will be anatural host, confident, personable, and comfortable speaking with guests from all walks of life and ensuring a great guest experience.
