About the Role We are looking for a General Manager to lead, inspire and manage a student community at Abbeygate in Chester. The role is a 40‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday 9.00‑5.30, and requires a dynamic leader with team‑motivating skills, a solid grasp of health and safety regulations and the ability to manage budgets. Responsibilities

Drive an exceptional student living experience and oversee staff in sales, maintenance and housekeeping. Embed the company’s core values and enable the team to excel in their roles. Manage the check‑in, check‑out and room turnaround process each September. Communicate effectively with new students and handle any customer or operational issues that arise. Report and present data and operational performance to the regional team. Lead, inspire and motivate the team while ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

Qualifications

Leadership experience in a similar role or environment. Strong data presentation and analysis skills. Impeccable organisational abilities. Team player with the power to lead, inspire and motivate. Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of health and safety regulations (desirable but not essential).
