Job Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to be based at our head office in Perivale while overseeing operations across multiple sites throughout the UK. This role is ideal for a proven leader with a passion for driving business growth, optimizing operations, and inspiring

high-performing teams.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance & Goal Management: Formulate the annual budget, oversee its breakdown and execution, and translate it into measurable monthly business objectives to drive growth.

2. Organizational Management: Oversee quarterly workforce planning and manage the recruitment process, including staff interviews.

3. Performance and incentives: Oversee management performance, conduct quarterly bonus assessments, and recommend improvements to incentive and compensation policies.

4. Operational Oversight: Monitor key initiatives, including labour outsourcing, platform partnerships, marketplace performance, unsalable product management, and warehouse inspections.

5. Cost optimisation and negotiation: Negotiate and monitor improvements in platform fees, courier charges, labour outsourcing, customs clearance, and truck delivery fees, driving operational efficiency and cost savings.

6. Strategic Responsibilities: Maintain strong business partner relationships, legal defence and crisis management, review and execute service contracts, oversee company policies and regulatory compliance, and handle additional related duties.

7. Project management: Oversee office and warehouse operations, provide oversight on procedural implementation and IT developments.

8. Culture Leadership: Foster and promote a positive, high-performance culture across the branch.

9. Other duties assigned by HQ General Manager


Job Qualification:

  1. Bachelors degree and above.
  2. 15+ years of work experience and 5+ years of management experience with preference in consumer products retailing, preferable in the e-commerce industry.
  3. Knowledgeable in marketing, accounting and human resource
  4. Proven leader with a hands-on, action-oriented approach; highly motivated, thrives under pressure, and communicates effectively at all levels.


Remuneration:

  1. Pay: £110,000.00-£140,000.00 per year
