What will you be doing? * Lead and optimise next-day wholesale distribution operations, ensuring consistent service delivery in fast-paced, time-critical environments. * Drive commercial performance across sales, operations, and supply chain, aligning teams to improve margin, revenue growth, and customer outcomes. * Design, manage, and optimise hybrid distribution networks, balancing fixed assets and 3PL partnerships to maximise cost efficiency and coverage. * Operate at board and director level, owning full P&L responsibility and translating strategy into operational and commercial results. * Scale and professionalise growing operations, implementing structure, performance management, and operational discipline. * Lead change and integration initiatives, including the consolidation and integration of operations in a growth or M&A context. * Own stock control and inventory strategy, using data and analysis to optimise availability, reduce working capital, and improve cash flow. * Deliver sustainable profitability and service excellence, leveraging operational capability to enhance customer satisfaction and financial returns.
