Restaurant General Manager – London Bridge

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per year (inclusive) + Bonus + Benefits

Our client is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead a well-established London Bridge restaurant, known for celebrating the very best of South African food, wine, and hospitality.

The Role

As General Manager, you will take full ownership of the restaurant’s performance, team, and guest experience. You’ll be responsible for driving commercial success while ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience rooted in genuine hospitality.

A key part of the role will be championing and evolving unique, interactive tableside experiences — ensuring they are delivered consistently, confidently, and with genuine flair.

• A proven General Manager with strong experience in high-quality, high-volume restaurants

• A natural host who thrives on creating memorable, interactive guest experiences
• Passion for service theatre and the ability to bring energy to tableside moments
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue and profitability
• A hands-on leader who inspires, develops, and retains high-performing teams
• Strong food and wine knowledge; interest in South African wines is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a passionate front and back-of-house team
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences aligned to a South African-inspired identity
• Champion and embed engaging tableside service moments across the team
• Drive sales through events, wine experiences, and local engagement
• Manage P&L, budgets, and operational efficiency
• Maintain high standards across service, food quality, and compliance
• Act as a brand ambassador for the business
