Our client, a long standing partner to the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking a hands on General Operator with experience in wire looming, cable assembly, and fine detail manufacturing to join a high integrity defence production environment. This role is bench based, detail focused, and ideal for operators who enjoy precise wiring, crimping, soldering, and microscope work. What youll be doing Building and securing wire looms and cable harnesses using crimping, binding, and routing techniques Carrying out fine wiring and fibre optic tasks through lope holes on the production line Completing assembly tasks to detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality standards Using hand tools, soldering irons, and magnification equipment for precision work Recording and self certifying completed tasks in line with defined procedures Working to strict ESD, quality, and health & safety standards
