Geography ECT Key Responsibilities:

Deliver dynamic and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Engage and inspire pupils through creative and inclusive teaching methods
Effectively manage behaviour in accordance with the schools policies
Work collaboratively within a large, supportive department
Plan and assess pupil progress with a focus on raising attainment
Communicate effectively with parents and carers on student development
Tailor teaching to support the needs of SEND learners
Play an active role in whole-school initiatives and enrichment opportunities

Geography ECT Person Specification:

1:1 Geography degree from a top 20 UK university
QTS achieved or pending for September start
Confident in classroom and behaviour management
Supportive, flexible, and adaptive in a team setting
Proactive and creative approach to lesson planning
Passionate about developing your teaching career in Redbridge
