Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: After Easter Break 2026
Contract: Until end of academic year (July 2026), with potential extension into 2026/27
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography teacher looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant and diverse school community? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Lewisham area from after the Easter break.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make an immediate impact, supporting students through the summer term, with the possibility of continuing into the next academic year.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with departmental and school policies
Inspire students to develop a curiosity and appreciation for the world around them
Contribute to the wider school community and departmental activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school setting
Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
Be passionate about student progress and inclusive education
Be available to start immediately after the Easter break
