About the Role
Principal Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a well-established and inclusive secondary school in East London from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5 for experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum Inspire and motivate students to develop a strong understanding of both physical and human geography Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment Support enrichment activities and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography Effective behaviour management skills A commitment to supporting student progress and attainment Ability to work collaboratively within a team
