Justteachers are supporting secondary schools across Bradford who are seeking a dedicated Geography specialists to join their teams either immediately or from September 2026. These schools offer supportive departments, strong leadership teams, and excellent opportunities for professional development.

As a key member of the humanities faculty, you will deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable), fostering curiosity about the world and helping students build strong geographical knowledge and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high‑quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Plan, prepare, and assess classwork to ensure strong student progress

* Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

* Use a range of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

* Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies

* Contribute to departmental planning and whole‑school initiatives

* Support students with exam preparation and coursework where required

* Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent evenings as needed

Pre-Requisites

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

* Strong subject knowledge in Geography

* Experience teaching KS3/KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom‑management skills

* A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people
