Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with this client, a well-regarded 11-18 mixed comprehensive secondary school in Lambeth, to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and keen to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities depending on experience).
Start date: January Contract: Maternity cover Salary: London MPS Working pattern: Full-time (part-time may be considered for the right candidate)
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4. Promote curiosity and critical thinking about the world and its people. Assess, track and support pupil progress effectively. Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The successful candidate will:
Have a genuine passion for Geography and education. Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management. Be reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement. Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with pupils. Be adaptable and enthusiastic in a fast-paced school environment.
