Geotechnical Engineer

You'll work on a variety of geotechnical and ground-engineering projects, supporting both site and office-based activities. This role offers hands-on technical development, exposure to complex works, and the chance to contribute to nationally significant infrastructure.
As the Geotechnical Engineer your duties will include but are not limited to:
Support the planning, execution, and supervision of geotechnical site works.
Assist with site investigations, drilling operations, ground stabilisation, and testing.
Produce factual and interpretive reports, drawings, and technical documentation.
Analyse ground conditions and contribute to geotechnical design solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Collaborate closely with engineering, delivery, and commercial teams.The successful applicant for this role will be able to demonstrate:
Experience in geotechnical engineering, ground investigation, or related disciplines.
Relevant degree (Geology, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or similar).
Strong understanding of ground conditions, soil/rock logging, and site processes.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
