Engineer Geoenvironmental / Geotechnical Harpenden (AL5) £35,000 Per Annum

Job Description: Enroute are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Geoenvironmental / Geotechnical Engineer to join our clients technical team. This role is critical to the delivery of their nationwide field-based sampling and investigation projects. You will attend sites across the UK to collect, assess, and document soil and waste samples, ensuring all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental standards. Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal colleagues, you will help provide the accurate data needed to support their waste classification and environmental compliance services. Key Responsibilities Site-Based Sampling & Assessment Attend sites nationwide to carry out soil and waste sampling using approved techniques

Conduct visual and olfactory assessments of materials, accurately recording all observations

Take clear, high-quality photographs to document site activities for inclusion in reports

Confirm sampling locations in consultation with clients and the internal Technical Team
