Geotechnical Investigation Engineer (Junior)
Stockport, Greater Manchester
£30,000 - £35,000 + Enhanced Overtime Rates + Progression + Training + Regular Travel + Stay Aways + Company Benefits

Are you a Geotechnical Investigation Engineer or similar with Rig experience looking to work on an exciting range of specialist projects nationwide, within a well-established company offering continued in-house training and proven progression to senior roles?
\n
Since the 2000's this company have been providing end to end site investigation solutions to the nation for a range of clients across various industries inducing infrastructure, renewables and construction.
\n
following your induction, you will initially shadow senior engineers then progress to going to sites and carrying out ground investigations, inspections and tests, then reporting back to the PM on your findings, and writing up reports and associated documentation in office. This role requires regular travel and staying away, with your work split between on site and in office.
This junior role would suit a candidate with either Dynamic Sampling/Rotary/Cable Precision Rig experience looking to become a fully-fledged Geotechnical Investigation Engineer within a well-established company known for looking after staff who offer an exciting project workload and ongoing development opportunities.
The Role:

Carry out Ground Investigations for Engineering and Construction projects
\n
Report on findings to PMs, and write up logs
\n
Initially shadow senior team members
\n
Regular travel to sites with staying away required
\n
Market-leading overtime rates provided for weekend and night jobs (>2x)
