Salary: up to £67,000 plus bonus
Working pattern: Remote with occasional site visits – minimal travel

HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for an Global Environmental Specialist to work for a leading provider of advanced analytical instruments for materials characterization in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and manufacturing.
The role will be focused on bringing a sharper environmental focus into the company’s EHS structure (with particular emphasis on ISO 14001 compliance, waste management—including hazardous substances, permitting, and life cycle assessments).
Main Responsibilities:
Serve as a practical expert in environmental compliance, advising EHS teams and broader operations on regulations, ISO 14001 implementation, waste minimization strategies, permitting processes, and conducting life cycle assessments
Drive hands-on support for waste management, including hazardous substances classification, tracking, and sustainable disposal practices across global sites
Lead environmental permitting efforts, audit readiness, and reporting to ensure seamless regulatory alignment in manufacturing settings
Collaborate cross-functionally to foster buy-in from technical and scientific staff through clear communication and training initiatives
Essential Experience:
A collaborative specialist with deep environmental knowledge from regulated industries like manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals
Strong ISO 14001 experience
Proven regulatory guidance skills
