Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a flexible part-time opportunity with hybrid working? We're recruiting on behalf of a global organisation seeking a Global Finance Operations Manager to join their Finance & Performance Reporting team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll have real impact. You'll help shape the finance operations in a fast paced, values-driven business. Aiming for one day per week in the Glasgow office, the rest of your time can be worked remotely, ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance while continuing to make a strategic impact.
You'll work closely with the Global Finance Director to drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and controls, while also mentoring a team member and contributing to the ongoing development of the finance function, strengthening financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading day to day finance operations including AP/AR, cash flow and month-end close.
- Ensure effective financial controls and full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Producing timely and insightful monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Manage the production of annual statutory accounts.
- Support process improvement, automation and collaboration across finance to support transformation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3-5 years' PQE
- Strong background in finance operations, controls and statutory reporting.
- Confident managing end to end finance processes and mentoring others in a hands-on role
- Advanced Excel user ideally with Power Query and experience with ERP or similar would be preferred.
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
