Global Head of Market Risk – International Financial Services Group We are seeking an experienced Global Head of Market Risk to lead the market risk function for a diversified financial services group with significant trading and structured solutions activities. The role is responsible for defining and overseeing the market risk framework across commodities, rates, FX, Crypto and structured products, ensuring robust risk management aligned with regulatory and internal standards. Key Responsibilities

Lead the global market risk function, setting strategy and governance across trading and solutions businesses Define and implement risk frameworks, policies, and limits in line with the firm’s risk appetite Oversee risk measurement methodologies, stress testing, and scenario analysis Provide independent challenge to trading and commercial teams on risk-taking activities Deliver insightful risk reporting to senior management and governance committees Collaborate with treasury, finance, and compliance teams on risk-related initiatives Maintain strong regulatory compliance and risk control standards Drive continuous enhancement of risk systems and analytics capabilities

Experience Required

Extensive experience in market risk leadership within investment banking, commodities, or trading environments Strong technical knowledge of market risk metrics (VaR, sensitivities, stress testing) Proven ability to manage risk frameworks across multi-asset trading businesses Excellent stakeholder management skills, with exposure to senior governance Regulatory awareness and experience working within highly controlled environments Strategic mindset with hands‑on capability in risk analysis and decision support
