Title: Global Payroll Specialist - French Speaking

Location: Remote, UK

Salary: £65,000 + 10 % bonus + equity

Contract: Permanent

An established and fast scaling international technology business is seeking a seasoned Global Payroll Specialist with strong French payroll expertise to join its expanding finance function.

This is a hands-on role within a high performing global payroll team. The environment is fast paced, commercially focused and evolving rapidly as the organisation prepares for its next phase of growth.

You will report into a Global Payroll Manager and work as part of a team, partnering closely with HR, Finance and external providers to deliver accurate, compliant and timely payroll operations worldwide. You will take ownership of several international payrolls, with France as a core focus, ensuring full end to end processing and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

* Managing the complete payroll cycle across multiple jurisdictions.

* Acting as the subject matter expert for French payroll legislation.

* Reviewing payroll data, tax calculations, benefits and statutory deductions.

* Partnering with HR and Finance to ensure accurate data flow across systems.

* Managing relationships with global payroll vendors and monitoring service levels.

* Supporting audits and maintaining strong internal controls.

* Assisting with payroll projects, system implementations and process improvements.

* Contributing to payroll transformation initiatives within a scaling business.

To be considered, you must have:

* Proven experience managing French payroll end to end.

* Strong exposure to multi country payroll operations.

* Fluency in French and English.

* A stable and consistent employment history.

* Experience working within a high growth or changing organisation.

* Excellent Excel capability and strong analytical skills.

* Confidence working with external payroll providers.

Highly desirable:

* Exposure to mergers and acquisitions activity.

* Payroll system implementation or migration experience.

* Experience supporting equity or share schemes.

* Knowledge of US payroll.

* Understanding of internal control frameworks.
