Role Overview

GP and Health Assessment Doctor at Nuffield Health – permanent, part‑time (24 hours per week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Salary up to £106,605 p.a. pro‑rata, depending on experience. The role involves delivering comprehensive health assessments and private GP consultations in a low‑stress, patient‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face health assessments and GP consultations, with a focus on wellbeing.
• Perform health screening services such as smear tests, breast examinations, venepuncture, interpretation of results and ECGs.
• Use user‑friendly platforms and enhanced pathways to support clinical practice.
• Work within a protected administration and learning time framework, with no quotas or unrealistic targets.
• Collaborate with experienced Health and Wellbeing Physiologists and the national network of hospitals.

Qualifications

• GMC registered GP.
• On the GP register with a licence to practice.
• Completed 6 months GP experience in a traditional NHS GP surgery; 6 sessions per week, with at least 4 sessions per week in the last 6 months.
• Competent in health screening services and interpretation of clinical results.
