GRADUATE CIVIL ENGINEER / CIVIL ENGINEER\nManchester\nSalary: £28,000 - £36,000\n\nAre you a Graduate Civil Engineer or early-career Civil Engineer looking for real involvement in development infrastructure projects? This Graduate Civil Engineer / Civil Engineer opportunity in Manchester offers hands-on design experience and the chance to play an active role in project delivery from an early stage.\n\nA well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is strengthening its civil engineering team in Manchester and is seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer / Civil Engineer to support highways and drainage design across residential development projects. The Graduate Civil Engineer / Civil Engineer will work closely with experienced engineers and gain valuable exposure to approvals, design development and client interaction.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Graduate Civil Engineer / Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the delivery of development infrastructure schemes across the UK.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n* Supporting highways and drainage design for residential developments \n* Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD \n* Assisting with drainage modelling using Causeway Flow or similar software \n* Contributing to SuDS design and drainage strategies \n* Supporting S38, S278 and S104 submissions \n* Liaising with clients, local authorities and design teams\n\nAbout You\n\nThis Graduate Civil Engineer / Civil Engineer role could suit a strong graduate or a Civil Engineer with up to four years' experience who wants greater involvement in projects.\n\nYou will ideally have:\n\n* Degree or Masters in Civil Engineering \n* Consultancy experience or strong academic grounding \n* AutoCAD knowledge and interest in drainage design tools \n* Awareness of SuDS and development infrastructure design \n* A proactive attitude and strong communication skills\n\nSalary for this Graduate Civil Engineer / Civil Engineer position is £28,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.\n\nEligibility to Apply\n\nApplicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
