An exciting opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our electrical design team. This role is ideally suited to a career minded, ambitious individual who is looking for that unique opportunity to join our growing electrical design team working alongside senior electrical engineers & designers to develop and grow, eventually working on their own projects. The work is predominantly building services based, including occasional process works varying from project to project.

What you’ll be doing

Based at our Rochdale head office comprising of engineering, design, construction teams. The successful candidate will sit within our design team consisting of architectural, mechanical, electrical design engineers, together with REVIT coordinators working within an open office environment that aids collaborative working throughout the various project design RIBA stages. The successful candidate will sit alongside our senior electrical engineers & designers.

Electrical works consist of LV distribution, small power & mechanical/HVAC power, earthing, lighting & emergency lighting, access control, CCTV, security, voice & data, fire detection/VESDA/alarm, solar PV, renewables and facilities monitoring. Where project include process elements, works occasionally consist of control & instrumentation. All project workflows and collaboration are controlled using the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
