Graduate Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
Work in close partnership with customers to solve complex engineering challenges using advanced control techniques Design and develop automation systems and equipment from an existing product range Contribute to the concept and detailed design of new automation control systems Carry out detailed design of robotic, computer, and control system interfaces Undertake systems engineering of electro-mechanical equipment Program and configure robots and control systems Produce technical specifications and documentation for equipment selection and development Provide internal technical product support Be involved in commissioning automated systems Report directly to the Engineering Manager Opportunity to work on advanced automation, robotics, and control systems within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
B.Eng / M.Eng in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics preferred (HND/HNC with significant controls experience also considered) Demonstrated experience in electrical systems design Strong CAD skills (2D and 3D) Autocad Experience with robot and control system programming/configuration advantageous Able to clearly present and communicate design solutions Strong written communication skills Self-disciplined with the ability to meet engineering deadlines and objectives Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and within a team Willing to travel throughout the UK and overseas if required Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Located in Shropshire, this role would be commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
