My client is a leading firm specialising in the design of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services, offering a wide range of services to complement their approach to reducing carbon emissions in both new and existing buildings. With extensive experience delivering projects with construction values up to £60M, we are committed to creating sustainable solutions for our clients.

My client is currently seeking a motivated and talented Graduate IES Candidate to join the team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kickstart their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilise IES software to support the design and analysis of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services.
- Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for projects.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and documentation.
- Contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions in building projects through creative and efficient design.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications
- A recent graduate with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar).
- Experience working with IES software during university studies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A passion for sustainability and reducing carbon emissions in the built environment.
Day-to-Day
- Work closely with the design team to deliver high-quality solutions for a variety of projects.
- Conduct energy modelling and simulations using IES software.
- Support the development of innovative designs for Mechanical and Electrical Building Services.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative office environment.
