Graduate Engineer / Quality Engineer

Maintaining a safe place of work, ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with regulatory and company Health and Safety policy and requirement.
* Support, Implement and monitor all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 as well as all required company, customer and regulatory requirements.
* Act as a point of contact on all quality matters both internally and externally including suppliers.
* Ability to review and decipher First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR’s).
* To act as a change agent ensuring the implementation of more robust quality controls and operating systems.
* Support and lead development of Waste Reduction & Variation Reduction practices and initiatives within the business.
* Undertaking any other duties, either for this department or any other department within the business, which may be requested by the Line Manager, for which training and/or explanation has been provided or understood.
*HNC in relevant discipline or Professional Quality Engineering qualification.
* Wide knowledge of product and processes used in the manufacture of aerospace parts and assemblies.
* Use of inspection and measuring equipment.
* Ability to read and decipher engineering drawings.
