We are working on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering organisation based in Fareham to recruit a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate looking to launch their career within a supportive, forward-thinking manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting production and continuous improvement activities. You’ll gain hands-on experience across manufacturing processes, working closely with design, quality, and production teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives (lean, waste reduction, efficiency gains)
• Creating and maintaining work instructions and technical documentation
• Investigating production issues and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and throughput
• Supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities

About You

We are looking for a motivated and proactive graduate with a strong interest in manufacturing and engineering excellence.

Requirements:

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of manufacturing principles (lean knowledge is a plus)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
