Academics is delighted to be working in partnership with an Outstanding Primary School in Hammersmith and Fulham to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate for a Graduate Teaching Assistant role starting in September 2026.

Role Details:

Start Date: September 2026

Location: Fulham, London
*

Contract: Full-time, Term-time
*

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
*

Pay: £95 per day (dependent on experience)

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work closely alongside class teachers to support high-quality daily lessons
*

Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions
*

Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), applying your psychological knowledge to help children feel understood and supported
*

Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

This role is ideal for 2025 or 2026 graduates, or recent Psychology graduates who:

Have a genuine passion for working with children

Are considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, or mental health

Have experience working with children (e.g. volunteering, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, childcare - highly desirable)
*

Demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude

The school is based in Hammersmith and Fulham, with excellent transport links across London.
