Teaching Personnel are supporting a number of specialist SEMH settings across East Manchester to recruit passionate, resilient graduates who are ready to step into rewarding, meaningful work with young people who need consistent emotional and behavioural support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll play a key role supporting children aged 5–16 with social, emotional and mental health needs, including those with trauma backgrounds, attachment needs and behavioural challenges.
In your daily role, you will:
Support pupils directly
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who struggle with behaviour or emotional regulation Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to help pupils re‑engage with learning Use trauma‑informed, de‑escalation and restorative approaches Help pupils navigate routines, transitions and social situations Support learnin...
